I am so excited to start camp again on Monday!
So I have been working on Web 2.0. Or at least that is what they call it. Internet Social Networking. So if you are on Facebook, Twitter, Ortuk.... or whatever.... let me know and we can hook up there!
So I have been thinking about being unstoppable. Have you ever had a goal that was so important to you that you would do whatever it took to reach it?
I mean a lot of people have something that they want but they don't want it enough.... and they may not even start moving towards it, they put it off, or say I will 'start tomorrow' or next week or next month.......
Well I was at a Chamber of Commerce mixer tonight and I don't know if you have had the pleasure of attending a mixer but it is way more about the wine and cheese than it is about business networking. So I was talking to someone at the mixer and I was explaining how boot camp was a great program and that everyone gets great results and there was also an old friend at the table who commented on how much weight I had lost over the past year.... so this other person I was talking to said "i would really like to lose weight but ....well I could lose weight if my hip didn't hurt and if the camp was at a different time of day and if my business was doing better and if you could get me to stop wanting wine and chocolate......."
Of course you know me I just told her exactly what I was thinking at the moment which was this....
We all want something and you have to WANT it bad enough and once you WANT it bad enough then it doesn't matter how your hip feels, it doesn't matter what time the class is, it doesn't matter how you find the money and when you WANT it bad enough you don't want the wine and chocolate as much as you WANT the body you have dreamed of having.
Now I am not saying that I or anyone else shouldn't ever drink wine or eat chocolate (or rice krispie treats - you will see below) BUT I am saying that those items on a regular basis don't get me to where I WANT to be and not showing up to camp everyday because of excuses won't get me to where I WANT to be either.......
I have clear vision of what I want my fitness level to be and what I want my body to look like and feel like and WANT it bad enough. So I will keep on.....
How is everyone doing on their goals? I am up to about 5 or 6 push ups from the toes and without rest at the bottom - yippee.
