Only 9 weeks....

I know you all realize that it is 9 weeks until Thanksgiving.  Which for most people marks the beginning of a 5 week frenzy of eating and skipping workouts.  But not us right?

Last year during the holidays rather than play the excuse 'well my pants are tight becuase of the holidays or I gained 5 pounds during the holidays' I decided that I would do every thing I could to treat November and December like any other months and rather than gain fat I would at the very least maintain.  I was successful.

This year I want to try something different and I want all of you to join me.  Below I have written down some fitness goals that I would like to achieve BEFORE January 1st and by focusing on these fitness & nutrition goals I don't need to worry about the fat loss or the loose pants because it will just happen by focusing on these goals so here are mine. (I want you to post yours in the comments below.)

1.) By January 1, 2009 I will be able to snatch the 35lb. kettlebell 25 times without stopping on each arm.

2.) I will be able to complete the timed mile in 9 minutes (I am one strong chick but running is my challenge)

3.) I will reach my calorie/carb/protein/fat goals at least 4 out of 7 days per week.

4.) I will do 7 consecutive push ups from my toes without resting on the ground.

5.) I will do 1 pull up - unassisted.

These are my goals.  They may not be the same for you but I think I can achieve this they are next steps for me.

What can you achieve by January 1st?  Reach outside the comfort zone a little but it doesn't have to be a iron man triathlon in 13 weeks (unless that is the next step for you )

Everytime we reach one of our goals we are going to post it here so make sure to post your goals below and let's stay motivated and connected - what better holiday gift can you receive than the feeling of accomplishment?  It will be great.

Tiff
