Thank you to one of our Petaluma Campers who told me about a cake she had from a party last week and she enjoyed some at the party and then threw the cake away after everyone went home!
Yes.
Congratulations! That is a reason to celbrate.
I am a child of a baby boomer and of course my mothers parents are from the depression era. It has been passed down from generation to generation that we can't waste food.
When I was a kid, I had to eat until I ate everything on my plate, even if I was full and so I spent a lot of years thinking I 'can't let that food go to waste - so I better eat it.'
What if the food serves absolutely no purpose in our body, like cake (or crackers, chips, pie, ice cream, candy, etc.) We simply enjoy eating it because it tastes good. But in reality is garbage - it serves no purpose. So why after the birthday parties and the barbeques and the dinner parties to we keep the treats around? Why do we worry about wasting it? You know what will happen if it stays in the house right? We will eat it! Every last bit of it. Even if it makes us feel gross, because we don't want to waste it.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am here today to officially give you permission to THROW IT AWAY! WASTE IT!!
If you have a party and you have unworthy leftovers laying around you have my permission to enjoy it one time and then throw it away!
Set yourself free from the guilt of wasting food. Especially if it is food that is wasting you.
Do your very best on the stacker tomorrow and enjoy the great benefits.
Not to many re-registered????? What are you going to do next week?
It may help you to see some Q & A regarding the payment plan below.
If the price increase is effective 1/09, what is the price for going to the monthly pay now? I understand the !57.50 is the price as of January, but an unclear as to how it works in the meantime. I assume if you pay by the month it is still $200 until 1/09. So what is the discount if you are committing to the next year? It seems the price should be less than the January price, but I need clarification. $157.50 is the 3 day price now and it will not go up on 1/09. The people that pay camp to camp will endure the price increase. The monthly payment plan is now $157.50 and will remain that way
