Wage A Battle

Hello my friends,

I have posted below my most recent food journal.  As you can see it is pathetic.  I didn't get a journal in yesterday but I am diligently working on today's. 

During the last week of camp I spend a lot of time working.  I kind of do that all the time, but this week and next week are intense.

Here is something I found that really struck a cord....

Let me dissect that for a moment. We must wage an intense, lifelong battle against the constant downward pull...

Everyday huh.  Do you notice there are little pulls everywhere.  Don't we all have it inside of us that nagging voice that creeps in with bad advice.  Pulling us to the dark side.

If we relax, the bugs and the weeds of negativity will move in and take everything of value.  If we don't get up and fight the good fight everyday the weeds of negativity grow. One day it is a missed workout, another day it is a missed meal.  We let them slide and don't fight the next day and it is another missed workout or hours without food.  We then are not fighting as much as we used to and the workouts are a faint memory the food journals are a thing of the past and the un-fought battle of negativity has creeped in and taken the value.  The value is all that we are receiving each day that we get up and fight.

So here we are with 2 days left in this camp.  Many of you have dropped your gym membership and sold the treadmill for a life with a new battle team, boot camp, led by Captain Jeff.  I know I will see you on 9/15. 

I hope the rest of you are not considering fighting this battle on your own.  I know each and everyone of us has what it takes to fight the battle but will we do it on our own?  Sometimes. I just want to see everyone take the value from this camp and keep adding to it rather than surrendering it because we worked to hard to get here.

Either way, I look forward to working with you again in the next camp!

I will have some other motivation over the next couple of days, I will take the week off in between camps and then get right back to this............so we can win the battle!!
