ANTS!

ANTS!!

I may have already told you this and if I did it's okay because it is worth saying again.

Philosopher, Jim Rohn talks about ANTS as an analogy of setting your mind to doing something and DOING IT.  Committment.  It is so important when going for your what you want.

What happens when you have a trail of ants running through the sidewalk or your kitchen and you put your foot down right in their trail?  Do they turn around and go back to the ant hill and give up?  No.  You will never see that happen.  Ants are programmed to never give up.  When they leave the ant hill they have two choices get food and bring it back or die.  So if you put an obstacle in their path they do whatever they have to do to get around it or over it because they have to complete there mission, there is not other choice.

Do you ever sometimes notice what happens when those of non-ant origin want something? Take our lovely children.  When I say 'our' I am referring to all the children, mine, yours, your neighbors just kids in general.  When they are around 3 or so, and they have discovered the cabinet that you keep the cookies in you turn your head for just a couple of minutes only to return to the kitchen to find your child on top of the counter with the cabinet open and cookie in hand.  To your shock you are amazed at the child's abilities and are almost proud at that moment because of their determination to get what they wanted.  But the very next thing you know they are crying because you asked them to pick up a toy and put it away and they say they can't do it because their leg hurts or they can't reach the shelf (or some other crazy excuse).

So what do you want?  How bad do you want it?

Is there something standing in your way?  If so, can you go around it?  Can you go over it?

Just a thought for today.

Thanks to all the Petaluma ladies that came out to figure out how to get around the pain with some foam rolling today   Nice meeting all of you and seeing some of you veteran's again.

Tiff
